Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the great city of Miami Beach, Florida

Where do you live now?
Currently I reside in Hollywood, Caifornia. It’s pretty great here too, not as many hurricanes.

How do your current surroundings influence your acting?
That’s a great question, I’m glad you asked.  I tend to surround myself with like-minded positive people.  I also enjoy being around creative and artistic minds.  I encourage positive thinking and inspired wisdom from my peers.  Hollywood has so many cool and creative aspects to it.  I love it here.

What made you want to choose acting as a career?
A funny thing actually made me choose acting as a career.  After my time in the military, I decided to move to Canada.  During a snowstorm, I wanted to get out of the cold, and the local theater was rehearsing for a play.  The director needed a black actor, and asked, “Are you here for the audition?”  In order to keep myself warm, I said “Sure.”  Then, a star is born.

What is your favorite role that you’ve played so far?
I’ve thought about the answer for this question and I guess it would be a two-part answer.  I recently started writing and directing plays of my own, so “director” is one.  The other was a fantastic role in which I played a merciless soldier that one day saw the ‘light’ in the film “Tentacle 8”.

What role/job have you learned the most from?
The job I’ve learned the most from is being a writer and director.  It’s so different seeing the work you have in your head being put on paper and acted out on stage.  It is a labor of love. Although, acting is my heart and soul.

I read that you completed a role on General Hospital — what is the difference in acting for soap operas versus acting for movies?
I have that acting in soaps is very fast-paced and everything can change in an instant.  You an go from learning 3 pages of dialogue to script supervisor, saying, “we are cutting 2 pages and adding these 3.”  So sometimes the pressure is on.  In movies, everything a really even-paced for the most part… and you get many more takes to get it right.

What does the future look like for you?
I will continue to strive for the best that I can be.  I hope to continue writing and creating more work for myself and others.

Anything else you’d like to add?
I would just like to thank all those who continue to support  me and my cause: my family here and my family in Brazil, as well as all of my fans worldwide.  Without people like you there is no me.
