Welcome to OpenBeast, Darija. Tell us about yourself.
Hello, I’m 21 years old girl from small town in Croatia. I opened my blog “From Paris With Love” a year ago because of my huge love for fashion. At first it was about some events in fashion world, new, young, infamous designers, and later, I started posting my outfits.
How and why did you get into the world of fashion?
When I was just a little girl, I enjoyed dressing up and changing my clothes often. My mother and sisters always owned great clothes, so I learned a lot from them.
How do you get inspired?
Most of my inspiration comes from my imagination, but I love to watch fashion shows and read fashion magazines, so they have great impact on my style.
What is your personal style like?
It’s difficult to describe, but I would say it’s something between rock-chic, boho and elegant with right dose of everything. I love to think it’s very different from people around me.
So what’s your preferred brand and why?
I like work of Jason Wu and Miu Miu because of their originality. Highstreet brands that I like are River Island and Zara because they offer varicosity of great trends and very basic pieces of clothes so everyone can choose something for themselves in very good quality and price.
What are some of the perks of being a fashion expert?
It’s great because you have opportunity to meet a lot of great people and maybe get some free clothes.
Any upcoming projects or initiatives you would like to mention?
Yes, very soon I will be presenting two great collaborations on my blog but I can’t say anything more yet (smiles).
What are your leisure time activities?
Reading, watching old Hollywood movies, going out with my friends.
